Having a chat with Vvy from Japanese class where she currently in Perth taking her work and holiday visa enjoying relaxing life over there. She advice to study there then only take PR. Her friend who had applied before Vvy apply the Working holiday visa till now still not approve yet. Too many immigrants. She got relatives at Adelaine but without studying at Australia is tougher I guess. I asked her about the employment working limit for Working Holiday visa, she said is up to 6 months for each employer. Her opinion is even you got contract office job they also won't hire you because of the visa, but it's an of life experience. Just once in your life but you can extend another year more. The age limit is 18 until 30. She started to missed her professional job as accountant and friends and family. I told her to make friends in Perth she told me she don't really social at there. ><

I told her to sleep in caravan and that's what she doing this weekend for camping!

Meantime chatting with Pei Sem who is my kindergarten + SGM mate related her mother with my mother. She had shifted to Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. She did actuarial studies which mean in short explanation . I asked her opinion what's the different between Malaysia and Australia lecture style. She said maybe aussie style is more like relaxing and sharing your knowledge but Malaysian is like reading from lecturer notes. She took pre-u South Australian Marticulation at Taylor's college so she don't have to take IELTS as there already an English course. She had done her studies in Canberra ANU Australian National Uni since December 2008 and back to KL working for general insurance consulting firm. Count and predict for future for general insurance firms and there are requirements from bank negara to prepare statutory reports so her job are there to assist the clients. I joke with her for telling me how 2010 economy will goes? She said not in position yet but more on statistics stuff. The she was asking my sister is there in Australia. And I told her I visited sister and brother just last month with my mom! XD Asked her whether she missed the life there? All her friends are still staying in Australia. But in order to get good job in Australia need some determination to stay as well as a PR. And not that you will get the job on the course you have studied. She short of 10 points but if study master, then will get enough points and think about it, if she's back here, she can get the job she want, and she sponsored by my company to do professional papers.

"Relative doesn't count cousin according to the new regulation" what I learned from her today. Even investments are not counted during her time, stricter. I told her about Vvy case. However even if you are student, you can still work for 20 hours max per week if not mistaken. She did some tutoring, tutor finance for first year students.

The requirement is 120 points and her degree is not in demand so only 50 points, 10 points lower compared to accountants.

Joanne Leong who migrate to Melbourne, Australia since Form 3 if I not mistaken. She's now back in Melacca having holiday here. She had met with Yuk Pui and Wuei Yunn there. She remember Lee Mun but opposition Lee Mun couldn't remember her. Told her that Lee Mun had completed her studies in Monash and applying for PR. Then my line unstable and unable to continue the chat. By the way, I missed the chance of meeting her in Melbourne but maybe July later I can meet her by contacting her Facebook not MSN! XD I had waited her to online in MSN for ages!

Last but not least, I had researched the Legend electricity shop today near the Old Klang Road AM bank beside Tan Boon Ming shop. They selling 990MYR for cheapest normal Panasonic brand air-conditional with included installation which I think is reasonable price. I heard mom talking on phone calling someone for asking the price of air-conditional in China brand cost around RM1200-1300 which is terrible not worthy! If I do not guess wrongly, that is what Kepong Aunty recommend it because her house just installed it. Stupid China brand makes everyone untrusted it due to its poor quality production. After that we went to Carrefour at Sri Petaling to compare the price against the one I went to just now. The cheapest normal Panasonic Brand they selling at 989MYR which is RM1 cheaper and not included with the installation. They charged the installation fees for RM170 for normal and RM330 for the inverter. Till than my decision yet discussion with mom. I hope she will satisfy the money she spent for with this shop.

I saw Wii-Bag selling at Carrefour which cost RM50. And the catalogue written purchase minimum RM118 to receive Free RM8 Carrefour gift voucher. I so desire to get one of this bag because you don't have to take out everything from the bag because they are some hole at a place for you to plug-in the cables to the tv and console and etc. Stupid Carrefour should launch this early without wasting my money to get one! Trying to persuade mom to go Carrefour together as there are still another RM68 to go to get the RM8 voucher in total of RM118 spend.

Went home and ask mom about the price she asked during evening. She told it is China Brand, the most cheapest will be RM1100-1200. I showed her the price I taken from the Legend and it is only cost RM990 for normal Panasonic Brand with installation included. She then huh, to ask me take her spectacle to let her see it. I forgotten to ask whether they have charged for interest if swipe with credit card, I said. She bother about the free gifts instead. >.<

Good night world! I miss my kindergarten friend. =)

Cleaning drawers and table

Wake up early again at 9:00am this time. Thinking of how to clear the rubbish on my table. Unbelievable, I am throwing Nicholas Teo newspapers cutting in my last drawer pairing with the table one. It already so many years and turn to yellowish and so many dirt sticks on it. The drawer can have its own fresh air finally.

The tables souvenir garage I put it all into a plastic box that I bought at Carrefour Mid Valley last time. All the things are wiped before throwing into it. There's full of dust on the table and floor. The little drawer on my table had some alkaline batteries that need to be throw. I saw my prefect badges and name tag inside of it. I remembered those days in prefect are so useless in the team. I didn't have a good image, good discipline, good student as well. However, I still treat it as my valuable item and memorable time with the tie in the drawer.

I had packed the Australia catalogue I took from when I visited Melbourne during 2004/2005 and labeled it on the FedEx envelopes where I kept into to avoid dusts again.

It is about 4pm and I have to go Cartoon City again. Tomorrow have to continue clearing all the stuff on my table again. There are left only 3 boxes for me to keep my things.

Another way to clear the stuff is to throw all the rubbish. I am planning to give away all the chinese novels because is useless to stored in wasting the spaces. Thus, I guarantee that I won't read it anymore again because the words are small and I don't want to wear spectacles again in my life! Dad told I don't have to throw or give away my books yet. Maybe could sell it to the comic shop opposite Public Bank. I had worked as supervisor in comic shop before so I don't think is a good way to solve it because mostly the novels are ordered every week by the bookstore itself through the suppliers. Sadly, seems like nobody want my old novels that I had leave message on my facebook status.

No idea where to hang my new air-conditional yet. >.<>

Ed invited to watch movie. I pay for the ticket, Ed pay for sushi dinner. I intend to watch The Imaginarium of Dr Parnasses. Tropicana City Mall is not having this show so I forced to watch it at Mid Valley Megamall. Probably not today, maybe tomorrow. I don't want to shower in the midnight when I got home later. This shows duration is 2 hours and 2 minutes time.

Mini Gathering

Woke up at 7am but parent aren't wake up yet. So I lay on my bed until 7:40am as promised to go Imbi together with mom. Not sleeping very well last night because my mood not is not going very well as the email I received from VU still fresh in mind. What can I do?

Mom bought both The Stars and also Sin Chew Jit Poh newspapers. I quickly go through the headline and read the jobs section. Obviously, the job classifields only shows higher position recruitment for Saturday and Saturday newspapers. Sadly I couldn't find any general clerks position.

Walked to Imbi Pasar with mom from Jalan Imbi. Ordered Hai-Nan coffee with a butter and kaya round bun. Cost bout RM4.90 in total for 2 coffee with a bun! Easy earn money ya? Mom ate two rolls of popiah and the price increase again so she nag again. After breakfast done, we hang around the market. One of my favourite stall sell beautiful clothes but always don't have my size. =(

Went to said Hello to Weng Soon as usual. He seems busy serving customers because his fruit stall is totally famous and cheap there! We saw some grapes which is very mini-size and there's some mini-pears too! So cute! Since he is busy I quickly ask him to sms me later as I had repair my phone and all the contacts had gone. Then mom going to buy stickers again, but this time is for Jocelyn from Perth! Lynn's daughter, I bet my mom can sell become stickers aunty new nickname. Haha XD!

Mom keep standing there and searching around for quite awhile.

Finally leave the noisy market in the city and move on to Pavilion but since it's not open yet because still early, we sit down in front of the Lot 10 and discuss the time she spent in Melbourne after I left. She only been to Victoria Market once later because too far to buy the vegetables and have to carry it all the way home. It takes about 35 to 40 minutes to distance between dundas st & spencer st at stops 42 Thornbury station. I believe she stay at home most of the time as brother kept playing with his computer online game. She miss the time there too I guess. When she ask me, other places don't have the course you want? So that she could have another destination to visit in Australia. You have friends in Adelaine? Hmmp~ Yes, Yih Hon my mind blink! That place is very quiet and not crowded as Melbourne and Sydney. But I remember Yih Hon said that place is awesome and good to study. But for me I still prefer to be in Melbourne or Perth. At least there are still some of my high school friends, primary school friends, maple story online friends and Nicholas fans friends there ~_~" !

The people sitting next to us smokes and we left the place and head to Sg.Wang. We went there and wait for the shops to open while we have a sit at Mcdonalds because the air-conditional there was switches on (without ordering anything to consume =p). We spend some time in Padini and Parkson. She wanna buy new clothes for me for Chinese New Year purpose. Those clothes are not unique and like old stocks for last year, maybe they not yet update the new stocks yet. Mom keep asking wanna buy this? wanna buy that? No No and No. I am not demanding but I really not intend to buy anything yet. She want to give me 50 bucks for purchasing biscuits for Chinese New Year but the dates aren't near yet, just give it to me when it's time. I understand mom is caring me because she loves me. I ask her to buy her own one, she just replied me I want or not also nevermind. She loves her kids, 3 dinasours of hers. So do dad, he never scold me of spending too much but no matter how, I still so childishness in his mind.

We head to Pavilion again after Parkson. Tangs is luxury department stall. The stuff inside there are very very very super expensive! But to satisfy our eye so we walk in to look around although we mostly window shopping all today! Next, Parkson again~ Mom walk to the cosmetics department and she told me that she bought Jurlique brand Day care cream at Melbourne that cost around 30dolars while having sales. It selling at RM150+ in Parkson Pavilion. The promoter recommend us to use the exofoliate scrubber. She give mom a trial and we saw the results instant! The skin colour changed by comparing both hand. The promoter still don't want to give up after I had ask for a product catalogue. She said she don't have it current and put the mist, moisturizer, serum on my hand patting it hard. We find a chance to left her because there are another customers visiting. We pretend looking the gift packs and cost about RM800+ the highest. Mom said can buy it during sale, so can have vouchers. ^_^ She not objecting buying RM200+ cosmetics!

The highest level floor selling Chinese New Year stuff. Mom want to buy the tigers doll. =.= Why everybody want to buy Tiger? Rabbit is cutest than that! Just wait for another year to go! Obviously I am jealousy! Kiddo pretending like tiger. =( At last we leave and move to the lowest level. Bought charcoal bread at Lavender, mom snacking to try the nuts biscuit from the promoter and end up bought it. Mom awareness is too high and I couldn't stop it. She loves nuts but she cannot eat too much due to she suffering joint pain on her hands. Mom hands is always full of love to their kids. I want my mom to have a smooth and healthy hand.

Mom want to go supermarket. And I am looking for the Cadbury Brunch Bar whether did they have it here because there are a lot of foreign products selling at here. They have it with the cereals rack and the price is similiar to Carrefour which is RM19.99. =( Why they selling so expensive here? Australia selling 2 for 8dolars and 2 for 6dolars when mom about to left. Convert back to Ringgit Malaysia is only RM24 or RM18 for 2 boxes! Stupid customs fees, taxing fees, imported fees! However, I still get a 100 plus small bottle for myself and 2 packs of seaweed with olives oil and grape oil seeds flavour that cost RM10 for each. Mom asking whether wanna try the Hagen Daaz ice-cream cup or not. Its expensive man (cause I'm not working anymore) no longer afford to buy expensive and luxury things to eat. Mom said she afford but I still ignoring her. She then still bought herself her favourite Cottage fries.

She wanted to have lunch at luxury place but I still prefer having the pork mee hoon near the Imbi corner. It is always delicious and worth for it. Before we going to lunch, we went to the Imbi Kaikan to purchase something for religious uses. The aunty who is cashier mix with me and my sister I guess. She treating me so warmly wanna know about whether I am studying or working. I was just hehe haha and left cause mom is leaving and I need to follow up. After that, we going to Weng Heong to buy some Bak kua pork jerky to eat. I had chosen the Ostrich and Spicy Pork taste. The spicy pork and normal pork price are same so why not having the spicy one instead they use more ingredient to fried it?

The sunshine out there is super hot and I'm sweating all over the whole clothe is totally wet. But it doesn't stop me to taking the Dry Pork Mee Hoon thats very tasty! It already increase the price to RM6. I saw a man keep taking photos before he eat looks very funny because like a professional cameraman. Dad joined us while we eating half way. He throw all his pork meats to me and I cannot finish it. In the end, mom force to eat it all without wasting the food. Dad teeth unable to bite the meat. So whoever who read this please quit smoking before losing your teeth!

It's gonna rain soon. Lucky we leave early before it starts to rain. It's jam on the pudu road. Dad regret to take the Smart tunnel to avoid the traffic jam. Nothing can do now, as I already cannot widen my eye and sleep on car all the way home. Poor dad suffering the traffic jam after he woke so early to go work today.

My sleepiness cannot wakes me after I gone home. I still lying on my bed and continue to sleep. Ed called again since 12pm and now 2.30pm. Whats up? "Just want to know whether you had taken your lunch?" I am sleeping. >.<>

4.30pm is there and I know time to wake up. Telling mom to take as many as Aussie dolar she wants. The fake notebook haha! Both mom and dad laugh too. Meeting Jia Pei and Pei Mun at 6pm. I brought the souvenirs along with the Aussie dolar notebook. They took each complete set of it. We have our dinner at Kuchai Lama 弹牙竹升面. They use hand made to produce the mee. Pei Mun became thin and pretty. She had curl her hair and pluck her wisdom tooth about 2 weeks ago. I can't believe I am becoming heavier as I wanted but not on my face! Pei Mun kept telling the story from uni until primary school. Enjoying the moment in the stormy raining dinner. It's about time to move at only 8.30pm. Jia Pei bf is around there and Win met her bf with her bf own. Meaning that they are in the same cafe but different table. Pei Mun drove me home and wet myself because I had lock the gate and forgot to take out the keys. Dad opened door for me and I run to shower. Have a chat on MSN with Wei Jian. He didn't manage to go Klang with colleagues after waiting for an hour and half. So I invite him to come out for a drink, and he say yes! But only two of us looks a bit lonely and I suggest Lydia. He called him and she say yes. So he pick me up and pick Lydia. He is good in geography I think cause he found my house haha. I'm going out to become Santa Claus again, told mom. Mom not answering anything cause she is sleepy. Then I gone out again. Reach Lydia house and she was out with friends just now. We went to 2046 cafe at Kuchai Lama again! My second time to go Kuchai Lama today. Yen Zheng and Yen Shan both working at there for quite some time Wei Jian said. Chen Kai is not joining us tonight sadly. Yen Sum at Wangsa Maju and Kok Loong at Cheras. =( Firstly, I could not recognise whether is Yen Shan or Yen Zheng. Then later I confirm she is Yen Zheng haha! This twins are definitely hardest to be recognise. I ordered a Vanilla Milkshake for myself! >.<" Long time never drink. I miss my second aunt in Perth she used to made for me to drink. We talk about high school time, meeting Lee Mun in Melbourne, everybody in science class taking account job in the end. Lydia currently working in Malay Mail company related with account. Wei Jian working something like Edmund Choo (brother friend) in Bukit Jalil. He hates his colleagues patting his shoulders haha. And he paid for the bill for tonight's treating =) so nice of him. He is still the same Wei Jian ko ko I met at Taman Desa.

Home at 12.15am. Ed called during on the way home at 1.30am.

Disappointment

Got the email again from Victoria University, this time it hurt me a lot... My mood is nervous break collapse. So disappointed... Here's the email written below.

I apologise for the confusion. I have spoken with our legal department about the discrepancy with the course duration.

Unfortunately it appears that there is conflicting information with our TAFE courses in Advertising. There is a chance that the discrepancy may mean the course will not run in 2010. I will need to clarify this further but until then I don’t want to mislead you. There may be changes to the course and its future in 2010 is unclear. Until the matter is resolved I am sorry to inform you that the course is unavailable. I have only just learned this information myself so I really do apologise for not being able to tell you earlier.

However, you might want to consider the option of studying the Diploma of Business and Enterprise instead. This is a secure course which is extremely popular. Essentially the course is a generalist business diploma which then articulates into all of our Bachelor of Business programs. If you are interested in studying at Bachelor level this is an excellent pathway. Unfortunately you won’t get to specialise from day one, but you will still be able to study within your area of interest and continue on to specialise at Bachelor level if you choose. Students who complete this course are eligible to enter any of our Bachelor of Business programs at second year level.

I have put so much effort on researching until I felt myself cause people feel ignoring. In the end, I really get nothing. I no longer young age and wasted so many years of youth to persuade study. I feel so shameful and useless.

Brother told me, well can go TAFE not just VU. And why you want to do advertising anyway. Any good advertising jobs out there?

I explained to him, People cannot leave advertising no matter in newspapers, tv commercial, billboards, banners, flyers or even internet websites. Although they are not so important in life but they do inspire people of the Brand, sending the message to attract people, to brain wash people to buy their products. Advertising firm is very busy world indeed they really have a good income like your job do. I enjoyed working in research firm like my ex-company did.. Unfortunately, I'm not qualified to become a researcher. Thus, I had compared both Advertising program between Malaysia and Australia.

The units they offered are all totally different.

However, I don't want to waste pa money and I just want to try to experience study for few months from Australia. Another point is VU offer the main point I'm concerned the most that is the shortest duration to complete the course. The worst regret thing I've done was I'm unable to visit the school during the time I spent in Melbourne.

Dad told me, It's normal to feel dis-appointment but don't let it get you down. Anyway, It's still uncertain that VU may not have this course. Could be there may not have enough students for this course. There are other Uni or college that offer this course as TAFE is an Australian and will not be dis-continued. When you have time, do drop by IDP to check. The persons there will be glad to help. Do not worry about money. When sis and bro were in uni, only dad was working and sis n bro were able to complete their studies. Now, dad, mum, sis n bro are working so definitely there will be money for you to complete your studies.

Take care of yourself. The bad news doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

My tears just drop whenever I read this email. I felt more sham on myself! My dad is old enough to support us. He never want to gain back any return. He support us whenever we need. Dad had sacrificed too much...

Sister told me to,

1. concentrate on your ielts.

2. chant hard. there is nothing you can do until they get back to you if you have your heart set on advertising from day one. business is too general, imo.

Feel speechless...All of them supporting me.

Myself only know how to cry like a baby. I'm childish but you can see my mature side. I concerned for so many factor. I thought I could stay at there to complete the course in that 0.5year. Why? Because it had a short term for me to understand the education over there. In additional, the short duration would allow me to have time to test whether I could cope to their education style or not. In fact, the location is very convenient as my sister is working nearby and easy for me to keep in touch with her if emergency happens. And the course end before summer holiday, so I could have time to go back Malaysia to attend my sister wedding which held on Christmas Day. Why? Because I promised to be her bridesmaid. Thus, without wasting the money hardly earn by my dad, sister and brother, if my sister is moving out when her house had build later then I still can share the rent with brother until I completed the course. Further more, the course separate in 3 papers award Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma. So it doesn't make me feel like tie up like what Malaysia did. After you had complete the Certificate you could have a vacation or temporary working then later you can continue again without forcing you to complete in 2 and half year for Diploma Advertising in Malaysia. Like you had paid for the course now, you want to continue or leave and gain nothing in the end? Like what I have done before in Taylor communication school for just one semester. Wasting money, wasting time, retaking whole course just because you had fail in the exam.

Ed said I am too concentrated on the self education. Yes I am of course, this is what I want for so many years! But the facts above I have mentioned shows the support that I am not selfish thinker! I can't see what have I done wrong?
